In 2005, Bayer Consumer Care boldly acquired Roche, which transformed our company into a global contender at a time when pharma growth rates were higher than OTC. China, Russia and Brazil were not even in the top 10.
New leadership teams were formed. New marketing approaches were launched. And we consistently over-delivered on our financial commitments. Business was good.
But things have changed.
