Speak Up & Stand Out!
Unfortunately:
98% of speakers come across as less credible than they actually are. For example…
Ever seen a low-budget ad on TV? What gives it away? Maybe it’s the speaker’s delivery, bad lighting, poor sound quality, unnatural body language, or a distracting visual appearance. Whatever it is, it instantly signals a lack of attention to detail—and you immediately perceive that advertiser as less credible.
So, um… could this be happening to you?
Well yeah, probably. Because unless you’re a trained speaker (meaning no more “ums” for starters!) and your presentation setup is optimized, audiences see you as less credible!
How I help:
I help you look and sound polished — totally on top of your game.
By doing so:
- People are more receptive to your messages
- You come across as more capable and credible
- Your professional image is boosted.
It’s done by prescribing hyper-detailed refinement techniques. For instance, 2 speaking techniques mask nerves when public speaking. 1 technique engages audiences up to 5X more. 3 techniques prompt optimal pacing. And so on. Nothing is generic. Critical stuff if you speak or present for company podcasts, customer presentations, media interviews, live seminars, investor pitches, elevator pitches, conference ‘small talk’, keynote speeches,…
I analyze and prescribe tailored adjustments in 5 areas:
-
- Speaking skills: How you say words is 5X more influential than what words you say.
- Lighting setup: When videoconferencing, you’ve got to look as good as a headshot.
- Sound quality: Poor sound quality is real bad; it’s the first reason audiences drop off.
- Body language: How you move shapes how others perceive you.
- Visual appearance: Professional presence is critical for success.
Then I provide simple, actionable adjustments to help you avoid the credibility pitfalls that trap 98% of speakers. All so you crush it every time.

“I have been a professional speaker for 45 years and more than 5,000 events, and watching David give a presentation on “how to speak publicly”, I learned things that will even greatly strengthen my effectiveness as a speaker. If you are a speaker, podcast host, corporate executive, I highly recommend you work with David Goldberg before your next presentation. He will increase your effectiveness by 1000%”

David’s Background
David grew up playing piano and drums. During grade school, he sold his Matchbox car collection to buy a MIDI keyboard. Soon after he was performing with an all-adult orchestra for the show, Godspell. By high school, his bedroom was full of keyboards, keytars, and drums. In college, he bought a 4-track recorder and began recording and mixing local bands, leading to the creation of Edge Studio!
After college, he engineered at a major studio, worked on multiple albums with Deep Purple, learned to twirl drumsticks from Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel’s drummer – see photo), recorded José Feliciano, Joe Lynn Turner, and Gary Moore.
Simultaneously his own Edge Studio was expanding to national acts. So David went solo, co-writing and playing with John Mayer (keys, drums, recording, and mixing), mixing for Mel Tormé, and releasing over 150 albums!
In 2007, David transitioned Edge Studio to a drug-free studio environment, which turned away many big bands. So he adapted to voice over. And Edge Studio V2 was born!
On a personal note, I consider myself a very lucky husband and a proud dad to two incredible sons. I’m also the happy owner of two snorty English Bulldogs who love to drool around the house! And every day at 4:30am, I’m a (sometimes limping) triathlete.
“One of my favorite speakers to date! Not only because of how well the information was presented, but because of how actionable and important this is.”

“Although I primarily work in Japanese, I found so much of the advice applicable across languages, and I feel truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend. I would love to participate again if given the chance in the future. Thank you once again for a wonderful session!”
