Aria’s Confrontation

I spoke just loud enough that the bar flies could hear us as well. I needed their attention. I asked if our new g*d protected her. If he if guarded his favored. Her body guards watched her. Waiting for her response. Her word mattered in their eyes. She had to say yes. She couldn’t lose their trust. I smiled and dipped my head, placing a third bullet on table. Suggesting a challenge to her as I did. A game of roulette. Every time ones of us failed to be killed, a new bullet would be added to my revolver. I placed a fourth bullet on the table. Start at one bullet. Fire. If you survive it’s my turn, using two bullets.
