The obvious note of treatment but I totally understand. Maybe throw a blanket over you or some pillows around the mic to take away some of the echo? Your tone is very full! I also like the punch you had at the end for the tag. Awesome work!
you have a really strong voice and great diction. But I feel like the energy was a little off for your shark read. It was very enthusiastic, which isn’t a bad thing, but I feel like a lower energy could really convince me I was listening to a documentary.
Great voice, but I feel like your not feeling your Discovery Kids read. I wasn’t really hearing any emotions, it sounded like you were just saying words and not connecting to them.
Hi everyone! I’m uploading a couple reads and asking for feedback please!
My home studio is not set up yet so please no production comments.
However, I am working on conversational reading style, glottal stops, and pacing. Any thoughts welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen
Very nice voice! I like both reads. Just a few things
1) The tone was appropriate for both of them. You added variety throughout the 2nd read very nicely
2) For the “4-H” read, at the end when you said “4-H grows here”, there were micro-pauses in between the words making it sound ….”robotic” (lol for lack of better words). Maybe if you blend them together, I think it would sound more coversational as you tail off the read
3) For the “running shoes” read, same thing…there were some micropauses as well, but not as noticeable as the “4H” read.
Hello my name is Gary Cobb I am brand new to the VO crowd. The recording I submitted is my first recording using my brand new equipment so take it easy on me,btw I wrote the script myself and thank you for your input.
A couple of practice reads for an upcoming demo session. Please note that the production quality is not studio quality; home studio is not set up yet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
These are some nice reads. Doesn’t sound like you were in bad shape to me. I like the pacing and the variety you gave for both reads. Your voice has a nice texture to it. For the AMEX read, I think the last part was cut short for some reason. But overall, great job on both of them
Hi All, another practice read for my narration demo. Thank you for the feedback on my previous read, I will definitely incorporate your advice/observations into my practice. Again, thanks in advance for letting me borrow your critical ears!!
This is a great read. Your voice fits the subject well and you sound very knowledgeable. I think you might consider a bit slower pace during the more medically dense portion of the piece to ensure the listener can keep up as they digest the material.
Hi everyone! These are 3 narration scripts I chose to practice for my next session.
I’ve been having some issues with my editing software in terms of audio levels, so I’m so sorry if these mp3’s are a bit too quiet. I’m working on that but I wanted to get these out for feedback.
My main focus is pacing, I just want to make sure I’m not zooming through these too fast.
Any and all feedback is appreciated!
