Had a technical issue with my last post and now can’t find the post, Try Number 2. I’m doing some more homework and with the advice from my homework on August 23rd, I believe I’ve fixed some previous issues. I hope this sound more conversational and that I sound more relatable to the text. I also changed the sound and hope that it improved as well.

Here’s how it works. Do something good out there in the world and bang. I stick a pint or two of Ben & Jerry’s in your freezer when no one is looking.
Now, do something bad and boom! No Ben & Jerry’s. Plus I stick something really weird in your freezer like frozen clams.

Hey all! I’ve got a couple of scripts from a while ago that I tried to change up and give another go! They’re narration, and I’m a naturally fast-talker which means I really struggle with slowing myself down for these! Any feedback is welcome, but especially let me know if there’s any issues with pacing, going too fast, or not letting the script breathe. Specifically with the second one, I was trying to aim for a friendly but still instructive tone. Thanks!!

To install a new capsule into your air purifier, switch the unit “off.” Then remove the new capsule from its protective wrapping. Open the capsule cap by turning in the direction opposite to that directly indicated by the arrow on the cap. Insert the capsule in the cap until the tabs catch the cap. Insert the complete cap into the air purifier. Turn the cap in the direction of the arrow. And then switch the unit back “on.” Your air purifier will now release a pleasant fragrance during operation. Either choose “repeat” to watch this demonstration again, or it will automatically close.-

Orton Hall I thought was actually too slow in my opinion. I could hear the breathing in between and it was choppy.
However, the next one was perfect. I could still hear the breathing but the pace was really nice and you seemed far more connected in the script.
Lovely Job overall. Definitely have a narrative voicing.

Your tone matched each one very nicely. I would say that you seem to get winded as if your trying to get all of one sentence out in one go. I have trouble doing this was advised to put pretend breath marks in. It’s not as bad in the first or the last one as it is in the middle on Tips on Basal Insulin. I also noticed a cut off in the end of the Insulin one. The Insulin one is also recorded at a higher volume? it is really boomy. I hope this helps. I really enjoyed the reads otherwise.

Your voice is so nice to listen to. I enjoyed all three, but especially the American Airlines most of all. The Beavers read could probably be less announcery…I guess it would be the right tone if you are giving a guided tour of a b****r habitat, but I think it might need a different kind of tone if it was a tv documentary. Anyway, you definitely are on point with your reads.

nice work, Sheila. I did sense a hint of pause during the Sandals read at the 5-star luxury part that made the flow a little interrupted. The Honey Bunches read had good energy, like how you emphasized the keys components of ad.
