The second one sounds really good. I liked the pacing and the pitch shifts. The third one could use a bit more energy, I believe. And a smile.
Good job.
Here’s another read as part of my homework assignment. Any feedback on performance is much appreciated (tone of voice, neutral English, intonation, valuing, etc.). Anything you can think of 🙂
Thanks for your help!
It began with the seed of an idea. In 1902, the heartland needed folks to embrace new advances in agriculture. But leaders with open minds, strong hearts and willing hands weren’t in abundance. Luckily, kids were. By empowering the next generation to lead, 4/H took root. And grew.Grew kids who are confident and strong.Who are curious enough to question. And capable enough to find the answer. True leaders aren’t born. They’re grown. 4/H GROWS HERE
Hi,
Sorry, for some reason, the message intended for SuperLuke keeps getting posted here.
Here’s the feedback I meant to give you:
You sound knowledgeable; I like that.
9 PLANETS: It seemed to me that some of the Ss and Rs were maybe to soft. Words like hydrogen, organized, average-sized, gas could be articulated more clearly.
ALASKA: Maybe you could put a bit more energy into the read to make it sound more inviting? Also, you could find the elements in the lists at different pitches to add variety.
Keep up the good work!
Here’s another homework assignment script. I’m experimenting with different narration scripts to see what works for my voice. I would appreciate any feedback on delivery and connection to the script.
Thank you!
WATERLASE HYDROKINETIC PROCEDURE (tutorial)
Your dentist wants you to watch this video, so that you are completely comfortable with your upcoming Waterlase HydroKinetic procedure. The Waterlase uses technology for a variety of dental procedures, one or more of which you require. We want you to be informed. So in the next 15 minutes, you will learn about the latest care options, and how they will affect you. Using the supplied video glasses, you will ‘virtually’ experience the entire procedure. At anytime, you can pause the presentation and choose an option from the Comfort Care Menu, linked below.
Hi Jay,
All three sound great. I also think the tone and pacing were spot-on. In the Six Flags ad, I would emphasize the “no, no, NO!” bit more so that the last “no” really stands out.
Awesome job!
Hi Artyom,
Nice work! I agree with Mary. The second version of Script 2 is much better than the first one. Finding the list items at different pitches makes a huge difference. I wouldn’t pause after SAP.
For Script 1, maybe try to make it sound more inspirational? Think of who you are in the story and who you’re talking to.
