Here's how we help

Ever seen a low-budget ad on TV? Well, how do you know it’s low-budget?

Maybe it’s the speaker’s delivery, bad lighting, poor sound quality, wonky body language, or the overall visual appearance.

Whatever it is, it instantly signals a lack of attention to detail—and you immediately perceive that advertiser as less credible.

Well, we fine-tune those 5 critical elements, ensuring nothing undermines your professional credibility.

In other words, we make certain you come across really well.

You only have one professional image… Be kind to it.

Let’s be real…

Needlessly, 98% of people weaken their professional image when speaking or presenting.

Take that in…

Maybe it’s the way they speak, or bad lighting, poor sound quality, or inadequate body language and visuals. Whatever it is, if you come off unpolished, it signals a lack of attention to detail. And that hurts your professional image.

So, um… could this be happening to you?

Well yeah, probably. Because unless you’re a trained speaker (meaning no more “ums” for starters!) and your presentation setup is optimized, well… yeah, your professional image is probably taking a beating

So what do you need to learn?

  • The subtle speaking shift that wins over your audience.
  • The quick change to your computer microphone that engages more listeners.
  • The 7 traits that win audience smiles, and the 7 that turn them off.
  • And 21 other quick adjustments that immediately boost your professional image.

Specifically, here’s what we do…

I’m David Goldberg, one of the top Speaking & Presentation Feedback Coaches in the US, with 36 years of extensive experience and a proven track record across diverse industries. Whether working with me or with my team:

  • We will analyze the way you speak, assess your lighting setup and sound quality (for online meetings), break down your body language and visual appearance.
  • Then we give you direct, detailed feedback targeted on those individual elements.
  • And we leave you with bite-size, easy-to-implement adjustments that target each comment, ultimately giving you a powerful and clear understanding of how to boost your professional image when speaking and presenting about your business.

See, we don’t lead any run-of-the-mill coaching with vague goals like, “Engage your audience.” Instead, we’re super-detailed in spotting critical things your friends won’t and show you how to fix them in seconds. It’s a game-changing approach other coaches don’t offer.

Here’s how our time is typically split when providing feedback:

70% = Coaching the way you speak to improve your effectiveness
10% = Assessing and enhancing your lighting setup for optimal visual impact
10% = Fine-tuning your audio quality to ensure clear and professional sound
10% = Refining your visual appearance across various media platforms

Even One Call Makes a Difference

Case study – with existing concern

A CEO had exactly 3-minutes to present 21 slides in an ‘investor pitch’ meeting. He was concerned he’d sound nervous and would need to speed through his material.

We said, “Easy… do these 2 simple things”:

  • Slow down the first word of each phrase.
When you do this, you unconsciously lower your pitch. A lower pitch conveys confidence (rather than a high pitch which conveys nerves).
  • Double the space between sentences.
When you do this, you continually have time to regroup your thoughts and catch your breath.  This means you mitigate getting tongue-tied and speaking in circles, and instead ultimately get through more material, in less time, with a more comfortable/confident feel. Doubling the space between sentences also gives listeners more time to absorb what you say and keeps your breaths lower. All wins.

2 simple techniques and his two concerns were no longer a concern. We give ‘voice adjustments’ like this every day.

Case Study – Assessment

A corporate presenter felt she did fine. “No one says anything bad about my speaking.” We reviewed her presentations and offered 3 ‘voice adjustments’. A later email included, “OMG, that was the best thing! I had no idea what I was doing wrong and how the fixes made a big difference!”

Another email said, “I’m winning twice as much now!” My team and I give ‘voice adjustments’ like this every day!
