fchappel, congrats on the first uploads! I really liked the Zillow read. Pacing was good, could have a more diverse change in inflection as you list stuff at the end but it was good. Main thing that stuck out with Nationwide was I picked up a distinct “beat” or rhythm to the read that was distracting. The voice was great for it but watch out for going up, then down, up, then down repeatedly. Editing and initial gain settings seemed better with Zillow as well but again, things which can easily be worked though. Nice work!

Good reads. Perhaps add a little more energy in the 4H read. For advanced technologies I’d offer the same, particularly where you mentioned the “excitement and challenges”. When you state “Advanced Technologies” is sounds like Advance Technologies as the words are compressed together a bit. Without running your audio through my DAW I didn’t think the quality was bad lol, but since you said it was untreated I’ll leave it as such. Great work, good luck on the Demo! I recently finished my first one and and starting work towards #2.
Also, just listened to the running shoes one. Great work on the natural breathes and leaving them in for the narration. Flowed well.
Great work on knocking out your first practice recording. Voice fits it really nice. Consider adding a change in pitch/inflection when listing different things separated by a comma. A couple mouth clicks but no distracting large breaths which is good. There is a change in volume at I believe 0:18 where you begin describing the tabs. You may have changed position with the microphone at that point. I have noticed I’ll do that sometimes when I get animated and start acting out what I’m saying and inadvertently look towards something else and the change in positioning is noticeable in the recording. Different mics are more susceptible as mine is. But, now that I’ve gone long winded, nice work!
Great voice. Some mouth noises at the start of breathes to watch out for. At :12, and I think :20 for example. Maybe slow down just a tad to make it more conversational.
