Working on some more assorted copy! Any comments are appreciated, especially those focused on performance. Thanks!

    Tesla Camera App

The touchscreen is your control panel for accessing functions, features and apps in your Tesla. The camera allows you to display what the high-definition rear view camera sees at any time when in Reverse. Guidelines appear and move with the steering wheel to show your trajectory. Always be sure to check your surroundings and to use your mirrors. The camera is an aid and should not be relied upon for rear view. If you are in need of additional assistance, you can reach Tesla support at eight-four-four two-four-eight-three-seven-five-two.

I agree with the other commenter- you’re so close to nailing it! Dialing in on the excitement and sustaining it through the entire copy will lock it in for you. Nice work!

It’s a good start, especially with your choice of emphasized words, but I think you could benefit from two things- having a more conversational tone/pacing to the read and also tapping more into the emotional message of the copy. Even though we are familiar with all of the things in the script, staying true to the awe and reverence that the only planet that supports life inspires will help charge the script and make the entire read stronger as a whole (and keep the audience glued to the documentary they are watching)!

Very nice work! I’ll echo the other comment that you could lean more into the build up to “I think he’s a creative genius” before flipping and revealing the humor written into the script that it’s really Legos that are being referenced. A slightly more clear distinction between the parts would help the humor shine and give your already great read the extra bump to broadcast ready in my eyes!

Continued practice! Trying out some more narration, all comments are appreciated- especially those focused on performance! The author’s name is pronounced a little strangely so I looked it up before making my recording to make sure it is correct.

    What Makes You Happy?

What makes you happier? A pay rise? Your dream house? According to happiness experts, we now know more than ever about what can make us happier and what can’t. “Most of us think that having millions or a sports car would make us happy,” says Dr. Nick Powdthavee, author of The Happiness Equation, “but we’ve found the things that brought people the most happiness were those they had already, such as friends and family.”

Some of us are born with personality traits that keep us on a natural high. Psychologists have now identified over 130 traits that corelate to being naturally happy or glum. Not naturally joyful? Try and work on these: You’re naturally happy if you are: Extroverted, understanding, self-confident, creative, assertive and practical. You’re naturally unhappy, if you anger easily, are self-conscious, anxious and almost always feel stressed. So, what is it, that makes you happy or glum?

The second copy (Ram) was your most solid! The quirky copy was well suited by your delivery and pacing, and the unique quality of your voice brought out the humor in it. The third one (Carnation) felt slightly robotic at the start though, especially in comparison with the other two. If you smooth out the delivery and make it a tad more conversational, you will have that one nailed as well!

Both the sound quality and pacing of the first clip fit the material best in my eyes! It flowed together very well, and the pacing was conversational but not slow enough to detract from the medium of a commercial. Some of the other ones had a solid emphasis on words as you went along but they were almost too emphasized for a commercial. Nice work!

Overall good read- I think it is your frequency of breaths that add the micro-pauses that break it up? The more you work at it the more natural it will be though and the more connected the read will become. Keep it up!
