Hi Kendall! I liked how in both of your reads, you do a really good job of varying pitch in each sentence so they kept my attention throughout. My main tip would be to slow down and focus on enunciating each and every word. For example, to my ear, the words “lawn and garden supplies” blended together. Same with the opening line for special k “putting strawberries.” Overall, great energy in both!

Hi y’all! I would appreciate any feedback on this virtual campus tour video copy I’m considering for my narration demo. What could I do to improve this read? Thanks in advanced for listening!

Hi everyone! I love hearing what you all are working on, I’m gonna sit down and leave some more feedback this afternoon.

In the meantime I would love any feedback on this In-Show Narration sample I’m considering for my narration demo. I know my vocals aren’t in great shape, but I wonder if my voice suits this copy, and what I could do to improve this read. Thanks in advanced!

“Cool waters. Hot sun. And fresh mountain breezes whispering on the wind. Think lake front living is only for the rich? Think again! Today we’re on the hunt for a bargain to renovate in lake country Wisconsin. This area is all about lake living, with more than 140 lakes in the county, lake country is a booming year round destination for people who love to boat, fish and do just about anything under the sun. Homes in this lake community can sell for more than a million dollars. But our bargain hunters are looking to buy a lakefront home for 450 thousand dollars.”

Hi Sarania! I love your voice, very energetic. For old navy, I noticed a pattern of each sentence ending in a sort of down tone. I would recommend varying the end of each sentence , so some sentences end go up and down. I think this would help keep listeners attention.

For Sesame Place, I noticed that the word “Sesame” repeats a few times. I would recommend vary your tone for each “Sesame.”

Lastly, for Snapple. I hear that you are doing a sort of grocery store loud-speaker character. It’s a very cute piece of copy and well suited for your voice. My tip, I would try really visualizing who this character is and who this character is speaking to. Maybe picture yourself speaking into the phone from behind the counter at a store. This should help bring this to life a bit more.

Overall very nice reads, I think your voice is great for this copy!

Hi everyone! I’m posting my second sample here as part of my narration coaching. Again, please ignore the bad audio quality. I’d appreciate any feedback! Thanks in advanced for listening.

“Let’s learn about foxes! Foxes are small, furry animals that belong to the same family as dogs, wolves, and jackals. Even thought they look a bit like cats, they are not related to them. Foxes are mammals, which means they are warm blooded, breathe air, feed their babies milk, and are covered in fur. Many foxes are nocturnal, meaning they are most active at night. But some are crepuscular, which means they are most active at dawn and dusk.”

Hi everyone! Here’s my first post on here, it’s a practice script from the Edge library. I would love any feedback. This was recorded on the voice memo app on my iPhone, so please don’t mind the audio quality! Thanks y’all.

Hi Andres, I think your voice is a great match for this copy! My recommendation is to slow down a bit, in general. I noticed there were a few series of words that sounded mashed together, and some words that “fell off” at the last syllable. For example “and end the tour back here at the tunnel.” Make sure to enunciate “tunnel.” I think if you take your time and make sure not to rush the copy, these are easy fixes. Overall, nice work!

Hi Erik! I liked the sound of this read. I would recommend on your next read, picture someone in your head that you’re speaking directly to. I think that will help the copy come to life a little more, so to speak. Overall it sounds clean and professional!
