I’m working with a few commercial scripts similar in style to a few that will be on my demo. Here’s the latest I would appreciate your feedback on. Still working on studio buildout so pardon the echo.

    Hi Monique
Nicely done! I thought the tone, pace and attitude you brought was perfect for this particular message. I did hear two words where I thought the pronunciation needed tweaked but I can’t tell if it is my equipment or not. They are both in the fourth sentence.

    Get – sounded like G*T
    Transaction – sounded like TRUNSACTION

Keep up the good work —Chas

You have a great voice for this type of narration. Nice articulation and changes in tone and pitch throughout. I would suggest trying more of a conversational style than a “presenting” style. The length of the pauses caused a choppiness that made it difficult to appreciate the complete story by the time you were heading into the big finish. Smoothing this out will draw fuller attention from the listener. Chas

    Hi Mary
I agree with Robert that the music on #1 is too loud. However, I thought #2 and 3 were both at good levels and were both good choices for background given the message.

Hi – I am focusing on short form commercials, a few sentences max and requiring more energy and personality. I would appreciate your feedback. Still working on my recording space so quality won’t be the best. Thanks

Hi everyone – beautiful blue skies and bright sunny day here – what a recipe for mood improvement!
Here’s scripts from different genres, Commercial and Narration. I recently finished my Narration demo and the Commercial is scheduled in 3 weeks. Trying to find shorter, punchier commercial scripts while not neglecting “what’s in the can”.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

There must be many such worlds scattered through space, but our search for them begins here, with the accumulated wisdom of the men and women of our species, acquired at great cost, over a million years.

    Aylin
You have a great voice for this genre! I thought you did a very good job achieving conversational and authentic, especially in the Dryer and the Crest scripts.

Tempo and pitch were also good throughout although the Johnsons script sounded a bit choppy to me. (e.g., .04 – routine, .07 – like a team, .12 – lotions, .17 – you). However, without seeing the script, I couldn’t tell which pauses were due to punctuation – it helps if you include a copy of the script in your submission.

    Nice work!

    Chas
