    Hi!

You have such a great tone and quality to your voice that definitely suits these kinds are scripts. I thought it was a fabulous read! The only thing I heard was an east coast type accent specially in the words ‘very’ and ‘thought.’ As a Chicagoan, it slips into my reads as well. I am only mentioning it so you are conscious of it!

Great work and keep it up!

    Hi Steve!

I really enjoyed your voice and your read! It is a solid take! The only not I have is that you should try to connect with the words a bit more. Im hearing you say all of these wonderful things about this town, but im not feeling you see it if that makes sense?

    Hope that helps!

    Hi!

Some commercial homework. Working on trying to sound conversational and not presentational! Also, working on not pitching down at the end of my sentences too much. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!!

    Waterpik:
If you floss you know what a two-handed tug of war feels like. Which is why we at Waterpik are introducing the Flosser. At a speed of 10,000 gentle strokes per minute, its nylon tip effectively removes plaque above and below the gumline. Making it a fast, easy and more convenient way to keep gums their healthiest, and teeth their cleanest. With no strings attached.

    Cellular One:
Here’s what I know. I know how to house train a dog. I know long division. I know deep down that most pro-football players are big sissies. I know life is really like a box of chocolates. I know that the big secret to the Crying Game is that it was a c****y movie. I know what time it is. I know Shakespeare new er wrote a play called “I Love To Go Swimming”. Okay, so I know a lot of useless stuff. But one thing I know that is useful, is where to buy a cell phone. And that’s Cellular One. Call 1-800-cell-talk.

    Hello!

I love this Disney script. it suits your voice! That being said, idk if you’ve been to Disney but it so soooo magical and and full of wonder and creativity. I think it is missing that bit of amazement! They really put so much attention to detail at the parks and it’s incredible. Really just imagine yourself there!

Great first take though! Keep it up.

    Hi Sean!

You have such a lovely tone! And you are on it with the timing of your reads. I think, especially with the Arby’s script, I was missing you actually seeing that delicious roast beef sandwich in your minds eye. But that’s the only note I have.

    Great work!

Hi Brad! Great work on these!

Stanley Steamer: I do think that it is on the conversational side. That being said, I think you need to make sure the client name pops. It all seemed to morph together. I tend to pitch down too so what helps me is literally writing on the page where I want to go up or down. Also, the ‘call today and save” sounded like a question. But awesome first take!!

Home Depot: This is pretty conversational! I think just make sure to connect with the material and also really focus on the one person you are speaking to.

    Junk: Great! No notes

    Hope that helps!!

    Hello!

    Great job on these!

With the first one, I enjoyed the pacing. I do think you can go even deeper into the emotion. For example the words “please, please!” I didn’t necessarily believe you were actually begging. But the read is totally in the right direction.

For the second, I think you can speed up the pacing just slightly. Watch the micro pauses between “dogs” and “would walk themselves” and “algebra” and “would really come in handy.” Aside from that, I think it is a solid read!

    Cheers

    Hi-

I think this was a nice take! My only note would be to have a vision of what that ice cream looks like. Be specific with it and I think that’ll come through in your reading. Great job!

Hello! Back at it with another homework assignment.

I am working on commercials. Please let me know if I am pitching down too much or if my takes sound inauthentic in anyway. Those were my main focuses going into it.
I chose scripts from the library for practice.

    Thank you!
