Haha, I have definitely recorded in my car too. Those of us with a noisy home have to get creative 🙂 I think this read sounds great. The pace is on point and the tone feels very authentic and fits the subject matter well. I’ve been really trying to achieve that conversational tone and you’re nailing it!
Trying one more time since the Upstart one is a bit distorted now (seems to have happened after reducing the file size – hence I’m not familiar with the tech yet) 🙂 Hopefully this one works!
Hi everyone, for these practice reads I’m focused on narrative corporate video scripts. Any feedback on technique is much appreciated (pace, achieving a conversational tone, etc, or anything you have comments on; apart from tech since I have yet to dig into good mics and editing :)! I would also be curious which of these folks like best overall. Thank you!
Hello all! I really appreciate any feedback on these two reads. I’m still quite new to vo, so any advice is appreciated! I’m working on connecting more with the listener and being more conversational in narration reads, and maintaining a slower pace with fewer unnecessary pauses. Thanks!
Hi! I really liked the energy on the Orajel read. It felt like you were enthusiastic about the product and I liked how you emphasized the “Orajel” at the end.
I really liked your tone and choice of word emphasis on the Lexus read. You may try a slightly faster pace; it feels conversational but a bit slow toward the end. Good luck!

Hello everyone! This is my first post and I’m new to voice over so a lot of room for improvement! Please note I’m not looking for tech-related feedback since this was recorded on my phone in my closet 🙂 I’m mostly focused on e-learning and education and working on reducing glottal stops and coming off authentic; and just getting started understanding what I need to work on. Thank you so much for any feedback.
