Paymaster

A person/company who is the financial-bridge between non-union voice actors who record union projects for union clients. The paymaster allows a non-union entity (such as a non-union voice actor, production company, or advertising agency) to take on a union job. The paymaster handles governmental deductions (unemployment, disability, pension,…), keeps track of residuals, distributes W2 forms, and so on.
