What’s your dream animation gig? Is it… Booking regular/recurring roles in iconic TV shows like Family Guy and SpongeBob? Maybe it’s voicing characters in big budget animated features like Toy Story? Are you a die-hard gamer, primed to breathe life into the heroes (or villains) of your favorite video games? How do you find success in these genres? By letting your freak flag fly, for starters! And letting all those voices in your head do the heavy lifting.
Each participant will be given scripts in advance to prepare and work with Lori on in the session.

Lori Alan is the multi-talented voice behind many of your favorite iconic characters, including DIANE SIMMONS on Family Guy and PEARL THE WHALE on SpongeBob: Squarepants!
She is perhaps best known for her award-winning voice-over work and is the first recipient of the Society of Voice Arts & Sciences Award for Outstanding Body of Work. For decades, Lori has built a thriving, full-time career, one audition at a time, as a highly-sought after voiceover artist specializing in animation. And along the way, she’s learned how to practice the sacred art of “voice alchemy”– consistently turning auditions into jobs.
She’s starred as Pearl the Whale on the Emmy Award winning SpongeBob Squarepants, Diane Simmons on Family Guy, Sue Richards: The Invisible Woman in Marvel Comics’ The Fantastic Four, & The Boss in the video game trilogy Metal Gear Solid. She is a proud member of the Pixar family, having appeared as Bonnie’s Mom in the Oscar-Winning Toy Story 3 & 4, Mom’s Sadness in Inside Out, as well as roles in Monster’s University, Despicable Me 2, WALL•E, Disney’s Henry Hugglemonster, Cow and Chicken, Animaniacs, and Futurama, (just to name a few), and a long, very successful commercial career.
Lori’s on-camera roles include Will & Grace, Ray Donovan, Shameless, Loot with Maya Rudolph and as Young Larry’s Mom on Curb Your Enthusiasm. On stage credits include
