Hi, great job on these! I could tell that you have really good, solid breath support throughout. And good pronunciation as well as clear, concise reads.
Anaconda – It sounded very professional. However, I’d say that it could perhaps use a bit more of friendliness and like you’re actually talking to a friend, perhaps. If that makes sense. Because it also sounded a bit monotone, I could hear slight changes in intention, but maybe lean a bit more into this being something you’re interested in. (please feel free to take what works, and leave what doesn’t as I’m obviously not a professional.)
Advance Technologies – I really liked this read. I could hear the enthusiasm, and you sounded invested in what you were talking about, which was nice. I could also hear nice, clear tonal changes, while still maintaining that professional, authoritative quality.
Bill Gates – I could hear a good balance between professional and friendly qualities. It was really nice. Your voice is very clear and concise!
Hi everyone! I appreciate the feedback in my last post! Following that advice, I have attached 2 of my narration recording, with the goal of being able to sound a bit more conversational while still being able to maintain a healthy balance between sounding conversational and professional (authoritative). Feedback would be really appreciated! Thank you!
You have a really nice, soothing voice. I can definitely hear a huge difference from the original Disaffected reads to the Upbeat one. Not only is the pacing much better, which allows the read to feel more natural. But also, you’re able to sort of switch tonalities much better. It sounds much more conversational and it almost feels like you’re bringing so much more life to the piece.
I could hear a bit more of vocal fry in the original, slower reads. While in the upbeat version, the breathing felt much more, again natural. And it felt more inviting as well. But at the same time, there was still this balanced sense between professionalism and conversational qualities. Great job!
Thank you for posting! You have a really nice, soothing voice. But, I would say to perhaps allow your reads to either breath a little more or a little less because I could feel you running a bit out of breath, especially in the Flams read, since it was a tongue-twister. But, I really appreciated how you would change your tone for your audience. And you have really good pronunciation! Great work!
