I really like how clear your words are and the diction sounds good. I think it could be more conversational however, the tone and pitch are staying at the same level through most of the piece, so it doesn’t sound like you’re having a conversation with someone about Almond Breeze. I’m working on this with my coach as well, but she has some great pointers on reminding me to think of someone specific and concentrate on them through out the “conversation”.

I agree with pp the reads sound a little on the performance side, and would benefit from being more conversational (working on this as well my coach). I like your diction in the pieces, but I think as you work on them being more conversational the flow of your words and pitch will sound much better. Great job though!

Hi All! After a few years I’m finally getting back into the VO game/training so I’m a little rusty. I’m working on sounding less performance and more conversational on my commercial reads, also let me know what you think about the pace (Creative feedback only, not working from a professional home studio yet, NO technical feedback, please!).

Side note – any tips on raining in the extra saliva while recording is greatly appreciated (I’ve tried lots of water although I’m sure I could always drink more, as well as mouthwash before recording). Thank you!
