ParticipantHi S3, thanks for the feedback! 1 and 3 felt the most comfortable for me too, so that’s good. I will try to adjust for sound – it was too loud recently and is now too soft – looking for the middle ground – it will happen hopefully soon! Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for the feedback Touzet! I will watch my emphasis on certain syllables, did not know it was coming across in a weird way. In the past I have not hit things enough, so maybe I’m getting tot he point where I can work on making it more natural. Thanks for the tip on normalization. I took Art’s class on Audacity recently but am really just learning the software – thanks!

ParticipantThanks for the feedback Solin! I will try normalizing the recording, thanks for the tip! I have been racking my brain for how to adjust to a -3 db level either during or after the recording, this is very helpful, thanks!

ParticipantHi Robert, good read! I think this would be great for your demo – it was very conversational and authentic, and laid back. Good job!

ParticipantThanks for the feedback Kevin! I will work on the tone for this one. I was trying to put a lot into “headaches” but I will work on a more pained sound next time instead of excited – no one is excited about headaches hopefully! Thanks!

ParticipantHi Burdahgirl, good job! I liked 2 the best, then 3, then 1. 1 definitely felt a little more intimate, and 2 was the most direct but still conversational and with plenty of variation. I like this exercise, great idea! Good job on these.

ParticipantHey Bil-Bo, excellent for both reads! I love the versatility in your voice and the very different feel for both of the reads – these sound like they could have easily been 2 different people! That’s great that you can do both so well. Good production too. Good job!

ParticipantHi S3! First of all, welcome!
Good job on these 3 scripts. Your voice is nice and friendly and your tone feels approachable. I liked the third script the best for you, seemed like the best fit of the 3 for your voice. Good pacing and variation in tone for all of them – good job on these!
