Hi Laura! I think your flow is quite nice, it’s relaxed and conversational, though perhaps a little too easy going. It’s missing that touch of confidence in what you’re saying which is critical for e-learning. Try imagining that you’re actually sharing this info with a real person who needs it. I’m also only hearing audio from the left channel. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much! That encouragement means a lot 🙂 would you mind sharing where in the script the pauses needed tightening? I’ve received similar feedback before but haven’t asked for the examples. Thanks!
Hi all! I’d be grateful for any feedback on the attached audition; creative, performance, and technical. I’m working on speeding up my audition process.
Hi dhwilson2! You have a very interesting sound! What stood out to me immediately was mouth clicks and a low frequency hum. The clicks can be fixed with proper hydration. The hum can be removed with a program like iZotope RX (Just google the stand alone or plug in option for tutorials). You may also want to shoot for crisper/clearer enunciation. Keep going, you’re headed in a great direction!
Hi Marco! I really like the mix of personable and authoritative you’ve achieved here. Your tone and delivery are fantastic for the content. There’s a smidge of echo/background noise and it sounds like a couple of words got cut off… perhaps by a click filter? I only ask because I’ve heard similar on tracks using a click filter. For example, “Crest Pro Hel…” I don’t hear the TH. Overall, you have a super strong sound.
Hello everyone! I’d much appreciate a critique of this audition for performance and audio quality. No slate was requested and I thought this one take covered everything my gut told me to go with. I haven’t been practicing as much as I should so be honest – it’ll light a fire under my b**t. Thanks!
Hi Watson! I LUV these! Your energy and take on both is spot on for what I imagine is a Gen Z target audience. My only critique is some audible breaths and room noise in the first file. Other than that, you nailed both.
