    Hi Gracie!

You have a great voice for this read 🙂 I thought your pacing was really good on both reads! One thing that really helped me with intonation and rhythm was picking what word in the sentence was most important to me. So for example: in the first sentence of the Annie E Casey Foundation read I would say, for me, “every” is the most important word (it could be different for you) “EVERY child deserves to grow up with…”. Putting emphasis on the important word that we chose can help both with rhythm and with intonation for me because it gives me kind of a target to hit if that makes sense? You don’t have to go crazy with it though! For example you do this REALLY well in the next sentence when you say “HIS skills HER talents….”

I think the vocal fry issue might be coming from running out of breath? At 23 seconds you say “poor neighborhoods” and run out of breath before finishing with “where the chance to thrive….”. I had this issue too! What I did to fix this is I made sure to take a good quality breath from my diaphragm where my natural pauses would be. This even helped with my pacing because it sort of forced me to slow down a little bit.

Keep up the great work!!! You have a great voice and I’m so excited to see what you do!

    Hi!!!

I love your voice and tone for this read! I would be careful with your diction on some words (Subsidiary kind of sounded like “subsidary” (@ 5 seconds) and policy holders kind of sounded like “Paulsy holders” (@ 20 seconds)).

One thing my coach always tells me is to think about my audience. I love when you emphasize “never” when saying “NEVER invested in real estate….” it really felt like you were trying to convince the listener to trust Amica. I think leaning more into that and really thinking about trying to convince someone to trust Amica while you read would take this already great read to the next level. Keep up the great work!!!!! Hope this made sense!

    Hi Monique!

Excellent read! I love how smooth your tone of voice is. It really works on the last line “steaming salvation” I really liked your “and go to bed” line as well! Your inflection really highlighted how easy it is to get your coffee going! You have a great conversational tone, but on the “Mr Coffee elite plus coffeemaker” line I feel that you lose this a little bit. Long product names are always tough for me, I Try and think of it as if I’m recommending the product to a friend: “Oh my G*D Mr coffee elite plus coffeemaker starts brewing WHENEVER you say :o”.

Hope this helps! You did an excellent job 🙂

    Hi Elizabeth!

Excellent work! I love the cutesy tone you use in your read. You have a lovely light airy tone at the beginning of your sentences but I hear at the end of certain sentences and words your pitch drops a little bit. Try and focus on keeping that light head voice all the way through. Awesome work!

    Hi Dan!

What an excellent and resonate voice you have. I especially love the humor you bring to your reads! You’re incredibly believable and conversational in the McCholesterol’s read. I think for the Harvey’s commercial bringing that same energy would really elevate your read! It’s a humorous and sarcastic script so I think leaning more into the conversational, light hearted tone would really work.

    Excellent work!

Hello! I’m brand new to commercial voice acting so any feedback would be appreciated! I’m working on having a more conversational tone. (The Honda commercial specifically is not really my forte)
