Hi everybody, here is a commercial practice read. I would appreciate any feedback in regards to technique and sound quality. Thank you.

    Waterpik

If you floss you know what a two-handed tug of war feels like. Which is why we at Waterpik are introducing the Flosser. At a speed of 10,000 gentle strokes per minute, its nylon tip effectively removes plaque above and below the gumline. Making it a fast, easy and more convenient way to keep gums their healthiest, and teeth their cleanest. With no strings attached.

Hi e4gaa, the authoritative tone in your voice is solid, but perhaps add a smile in the last line. Just because the tone for a read is authoritative, it doesn’t mean it cannot be friendly at certain sections. Also the pacing of your read was very good. Good job.

    Hi Kim,

I really liked your read. Your tone and energy are great. The only thing I noticed are, watch out for glottals. I noticed one in the first sentence “bacteria and”, but overall good job.

    Hi Andres,

I like your voice, and your tone throughout the read is very good. My only criticisms are the first sentence ends with an exclamation point, and I feel like you can add more energy there. Also I noticed breathes thoughout the read, maybe minimize or mute the breathes. Overall good job.

Hi Dillon, I checked out your reads, and here are my thoughts.

Marker Crayola – you said Makers instead of markers. Need to diffentiate the adjectives more in the second sentence.

Cool Jazz – Differentiate b/w smoothest and grooviest. Also you hit Cool, but you should hit the whole name of the radio station, Cool 98.1 FM.

    Overall solid job.

Hi Courtney. I listened to both of your reads, and wanted to share my thoughts.

Disney – Great tone, great job with the tongue twisting fourth sentence! Also you differentiate nicely between sentences, and the recording quality is very good. Great job.

McDonald’s – Great differentiation in the first couple of sentences. Also great tone. Hit the key words splendidly. Recording quality is very good. Great job.
