Hi Catherine – Great reads! The Appalachian Trail Travelogue is engaging and conversational – it sounds as though you’re talking about the trail to real people in a visitors center. 🙂 I think the Audrey Hepburn read could use some more of that conversational element – it’s clear and well-paced but seems to be just missing the conversational cherry on top!
Hi Taylor – You have such a lovely and warm voice! One thing I noticed in your Canva read is something that I have also gotten some feedback on which is that you emphasize certain words, such as “just”, “playground” etc. in a way that makes sense with the cadence of the script but can somewhat bury the following word so I would just highlight that as something to be mindful of. Both reads are excellent, though!
This is great! I don’t have much to say other than that it’s a really strong conversational read. I see some comments on your other audios that one or two spots don’t have that same time of read so I’m guessing you really connect with the content here. Great job!
Hi Sarah! I agree with JamesB that this is a great conversational read and also agree that the energy and variety of “The Freatom to eat ’em” line was perfect! I think it would be great to harness that energy throughout while keeping it conversational. My only feedback is that the list early on starting with “Looking to bulk up?…” could flow a bit better – I’ve gotten similar feedback so I know how. tricky it is!
Hi all! Forgive any distractions and background noise as I just started coaching and am still working on my at-home studio. I’ve uploaded reads of two scripts from the narration library. I’m not sure that I am getting the hang of sounding natural or conversational and I’m also working on not rushing through the reading so I’d love to hear your thoughts on either but welcome all feedback. Thank you in advance!
