ParticipantHey everyone,
A couple of practice reads for an upcoming demo session. Please note that the production quality is not studio quality; home studio is not set up yet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ParticipantHey,
These are some nice reads. Doesn’t sound like you were in bad shape to me. I like the pacing and the variety you gave for both reads. Your voice has a nice texture to it. For the AMEX read, I think the last part was cut short for some reason. But overall, great job on both of them

ParticipantHi Nikka,
Very nice voice! I like both reads. Just a few things
1) The tone was appropriate for both of them. You added variety throughout the 2nd read very nicely
2) For the “4-H” read, at the end when you said “4-H grows here”, there were micro-pauses in between the words making it sound ….”robotic” (lol for lack of better words). Maybe if you blend them together, I think it would sound more coversational as you tail off the read3) For the “running shoes” read, same thing…there were some micropauses as well, but not as noticeable as the “4H” read.
Overall, great job. Keep up the good work.

ParticipantVery nice and textured voice. The pacing was great. I think you can bring a tad-bit more variety to it to give more “life” to the delivery. Other than that, it was really good. Keep up the good work!

ParticipantThank you so much for the feedback! Greatly appreciate it.
I agree with the breathing. I find it challenging sometimes to breath at certain times throughout the script without making the delivery sound so “choppy” (for lack of better words).
Maybe using more of the “lead-in” technique could help deliver a more conversational, natural delivery for the Lego Land spot?
