    Hi Mary,

I definitely enjoyed the first read a lot better. I could picture it in an ad easier and the sarcasm felt more playful than the second. I’d probably suggest slowing it down a smidge but honestly that’s about it. Great job!

Hi everyone! I’m back for my commercial training and learning the differences between it and Narration. This is my first homework for it so please do lend me your ears and feedback. Thanks!

    Script
Nintendo Switch TV Spot – “Our Way to Play: Teamwork”
After soccer practice, the fun and games continue. Lauren’s the goalie. She grabs every green star. Teagans on defense, there to protect the team. Paige is the star striker. You can count on her to take the shot. Then there’s me. Well, I just like playing games with my friends! Teamwork. That’s our way to play.

I personally think my tempo might be too quick and I probably could’ve treated the character names more like “Lists” in terms of emphasis/tone shifts for variety. But I didn’t want to overthink it and see if anyone else agrees. Again thanks!

The Unveiling of the Ferrari F-12 Berlinetta

It is the fruit of a huge amount of work and passion
and incorporates our most innovative technologies
working with the best technological partners in the world.

This is an extraordinarily high performance car.

    It’s 740 horsepower, in fact
make it the most powerful road car Ferrari has ever built.

Aside from performance, our other focus was weight reduction.
Using aluminum to produce a car
that’s not only more rigid and therefore safer
but also more compact and very, very light.

Efficiency was another area in which we concentrated
And the result is a car that has made huge strides
in terms of fuel consumption and emissions.

Hiya folks! Leaving my homework here for feedback. Thanks!

    1) Diamonds – Documentary
Today, seventy percent of the world’s rough diamonds pass through the central selling organization, the ESO, established by Debiers at Charterhouse Street in London. To regulate the flow of diamonds and maintain stability of prices on the world market, diamonds are first classified and valued. Here, along the north wall, in natural light, experts sort stones into more than five thousand different categories; based on size, shape, quality and color.

    2) 4/H – Corpo
It began with the seed of an idea. In 1902, the heartland needed folks to embrace new advances in agriculture. But leaders with open minds, strong hearts and willing hands weren’t in abundance. Luckily, kids were. By empowering the next generation to lead, 4/H took root. And grew. Grew kids who are confident and strong. Who are curious enough to question. And capable enough to find the answer. True leaders aren’t born. They’re grown. 4/H GROWS HERE.

    3) Betty Crocker – Biography
Betty Crocker is an imaginary person. Nonetheless, in a 1945 survey she was named the second-best-known woman in America, after Eleanor Roosevelt. She was “born” in 1921 during a Gold Medal flour promotion in which users completed a puzzle to win a pin cushion. Company executives decided to use the signature of “Betty Crocker” on the prize letters–Betty because the name had a warm approachable feel, and Crocker after an early company director, William G, Crocker. The fictional Ms. Crocker became so popular that she soon had her own products and recipe books, many of which still exist today.

Funny you say that because the third read felt the most off brand for me. Interesting to hear it sounded the most natural. Makes me feel better so thanks!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

You hit the nail on the head when mentioning me trying to “catch up” after setting those pauses for the second read. Thanks for pointing it out. Will certainly take that into account for whatever guided things I might do next.

I do have a pop filter and am admittedly probably only a couple inches away from it. Mostly because my set up can only be by my window, and I don’t want to use too much gain as my audio shield isn’t entirely covering anywhere sound might bounce off of. Glad to know the mouth noises overall were minimal at least. Will continue fenagling my set up and editing. Thanks again!

Hi all! Thanks for your feedback last time I posted here. It certainly helped with this weeks homework. I moved my mic over to the side of my mouth to reduce plosives a significant amount (though I’m still learning how to full edit them down properly) and I’ve tried slowing my speech down. My latest issue has been mouth noises, but hydrating and learning about the “Apple trick” helped me reduce that by a huge margin. Here are my scripts for the recordings. Thank you!

Animal Heroes: Not all heroes are human. Sometimes heroes bark, meow, or even grunt. They may be covered with fur, have curly tails, or live in an alley. We’re about to meet some real-life animal heroes. Each one of these heroes has performed an amazing rescue. Sometimes they even put themselves in danger to help others. We’ll meet a dog who rescues stray cats. A brave cat who saved her five kittens from a fire. A pig who got help for her owner who was having a heart attack. And a guide dog who led his owner down 71 flights of stairs when the World Trade Center was attacked.

Guided Tour: Welcome to Gordon College!
This tour begins just outside the tunnel that goes under College Drive near the flagpole.
We will tour East campus first, followed by West Campus, and end the tour back here at the tunnel.
Periodically, I will ask you to pause the recording so that you can walk to the next point or take a few minutes to independently tour the area.
I will always use the word “pause” when you need to pause the recording.
And I will always use the word “stop” when you need to stop walking while I continue speaking.

Explainer Intro: Would you like to buy a house?
Maybe it’s your first house, or even your 2nd and you just think that MAYBE you didn’t think hard enough about the last one.
Listen, I love Real Estate. And in most cases, even a bad deal can work to your advantage in the very long run.
But there are dumb things that people do without realizing it when they buy a house.
Humor me for a short story before we get into the meat of this video.
