Description
In the modern digital age there are so many social media platforms to choose from it’s hard to tell where you should focus your attention. Is one platform more equipped for voice over than another? Should you focus your attention on just one, or is it better to cast a wide net? Can you really build your client base and personal network through social media? In this class, we’ll explore and, dare we say it–enjoy–the positive elements of social media. Whether we like it or not, the digital world of branding is here to stay, and the good news is that we can handle it with dignity, finesse, and delight by learning the art of Social Media for Voice Actors.
In this class you will see that there is so much terrain to explore, but don’t let that stress you out! If you are active on all, some, or none of the most common social media platforms, we’ll take care of you. Whether you’re a seasoned social media pro and want to gain more skills, or whether you’re an absolute novice and need to understand the basic functions of each platform, we’ll do a crash-course complete with Q + A. We will, of course, discuss the challenges we each face, but find new ways to turn those challenges into meaningful strategies.
Join Siobhan O’Loughlin, Edge Studio’s Community Relations and Social Media Manager, and celebrate the joy and the FUN of connecting with others online in unique and meaningful ways.
